Anne Hars @ Pharmaka
Anne is in a group show at Pharmaka Gallery downtown. The show is "Brave New World" up now thru July 1.
"Seeking to explore how different collisions in our present time are visualized and dealt with by artists, "Brave New World" has a tone of science fiction and surrealism using elements that are both foreign and recognizable. The works explore the collisions between the human and the natural, the animal and the human, the human and the prosthetic and the natural and the synthetic. "
I'm only guessing here, but did Anne somehow merge herself with Uta and Petra for this show?!?

Claudia @ Barnsdall
Claudia's COLA grant show is up at Barnsdall until Sunday June 11. Claudia is performing in her piece every Saturday 2pm and Sundays at 3pm until the show closes. Congratulations Claudia!
Claudia will have a solo show at L2kontemporary in Chinatown in July.
