A Little Art
Hannah Greely, Muddle, 2004
I went to see Thing at the Hammer yesterday. This was my favorite piece.

Hmmm, you know, muddle was one of the pieces I didn't like!! Honestly, I didn't really understand it. Would you like to write something about the show for the Art Girls "writing" section? I think you can just open that blog and add your entry. I liked the piece a bit farther down from Muddle on the right by Taft Green. Also my friend Mike had work right behind Muddle--and I always like what he makes. It would be great to get a conversation started about the show.

Oh no- they were baked in. That's what makes it so real and scary.

I'm still deciding what I think about the Toast Face. I find the object kind of startling, even though it is small. But knowing my love of pure toast, I don't think I can get behind a sculpture that pokes such ominous holes in an innocent piece of bread...

It's a sweet show but you gotta have an eagle eye to spot the Toast face.

I think I am the last person in LA who hasn't seen this show yet. Total lump.
